New Year's 2010
It's interesting. This is the second year in a row that I Missed the ball drop or really participated in any sort of New Year's Eve Party. I think that this calls for a strict set of resolutions for 2010. The first being that I plan a festive New Year's for 2011. The others I know far too well what they have to be and will most certainly dive right into embracing them as soon as tomorrow. Ok, maybe Monday.
Maybe I'm the Grinch
Christmas 2009. Already it's kind of a blur. Some years the holidays have a sense of pageantry and awe, filled with countless events and parties. I don't mean to be a downer, but this year was devoid of any and all of those affairs. The entire holiday for me was like a puzzle where none of the pieces fit and no one wanted to help you put it together. This was a year where a lot was going on in my life and is a year I will never forget for so many reasons. As the New Year approaches, I just hope I've learned my lesson and carve out a new path for myself.
